Throw a Little Shade

          I think I’ve found the perfect title for my magazine!  When I was thinking of what my magazine title would be, I looked up makeup puns to get some inspiration.  These are some of the things that I looked at before I saw the perfect title for my magazine.  I really like these and I think they will really help with the overall creation/production of my magazine spread.

Now... this is the one I have chosen. (I also love it because it's a pun!)

          Now that I have my magazine title, I started to play with  fonts in google docs.  I’m thinking of a brush stroke type font for the masthead.  I think these fonts are a great reflection of how I want my magazine spread.

My favorite one for my masthead is the second to last one.  I really like this one, but I don’t think I love it enough.  I looked up different websites to find the perfect font.  Some of the websites I've found are Dafont, and FontSpace. I'm kind of going for a very simplistic look that looks like calligraphy.  I am going to have to do some more research about the type of font I want, but I'm definitely going in the right direction.  I want my masthead to reflect the type of magazine I'm going for, so that's why the font choice is so important in my pre-planning process of my magazine spread.  I wan to stick to a very girly theme (especially since my magazine is about makeup) and I think having a very light and airy masthead will be super aesthetically pleasing and will go with the overall girly theme I have going.  I'm really happy with the name I have, now I just have to find the perfect font to match my perfect name.
